Warden by Project Helena
Know when your service needs attention.
Let us run the monitor.
Managed Warden checks websites, APIs and services, learns their normal response time and confirms failures before notifying you. Get the open-source product with hosting, updates and backups handled by Project Helena.
US$49/month · one instance · no setup fee
Access within one business day after successful payment. Monthly subscription; applicable taxes appear at checkout. Billing and cancellation terms.
A fit for your current monitoring needs
- SaaS and APIs: monitor availability and response-time degradation with per-monitor P50/P95 baselines. How latency learning works.
- Small teams and agencies: share status pages and give operators role-scoped access. Access controls.
- AI-assisted operations: let an MCP-compatible assistant inspect monitoring evidence with a scoped API key. Available MCP operations.
Checks run from one Warden host. Global probes, browser journeys and automatic contractual SLA reports are not included. Warden records evidence and sends notifications; your team still handles the incident.
For private endpoints, specific hosting requirements or questions about fit, contact us before subscribing.
Verify the product before choosing hosting
Inspect the source code, read the capabilities, or follow the first-monitor guide. Self-hosting uses your infrastructure; managed hosting lets us operate the instance.
Warden starts with uptime. Service metrics, logs and traces are the roadmap, not capabilities included in the current offer.
Before you subscribe
- What am I paying for?
- One Warden instance hosted and operated by Project Helena, including hosting, software updates and backups. The current price is US$49 per month with no setup fee. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
- What happens after payment?
- After successful payment, we prepare your instance and email access details to your checkout address within one business day. Then add your endpoints and verify notification delivery with a controlled failure and recovery test.
- Can I try Warden before buying hosting?
- Yes. The open-source AGPL-3.0 version is free to self-host. The installation guide walks through one monitor and a real alert test without a Project Helena account or payment.
- Can it reach services on my private network?
- Checks run from the Warden host. A hosted instance cannot automatically reach your private network. Contact us before purchasing to discuss connectivity, or self-host Warden where it can reach those endpoints.
- Does this include metrics, logs or traces?
- Today Warden provides uptime checks, response-time monitoring and incident workflows. Service metrics, logs and distributed traces are planned extensions. They have no committed release dates or announced pricing.
- How do billing and cancellation work?
- The subscription renews monthly until cancelled. Cancel through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting us. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or explicitly stated in the terms. Review the terms before paying.
